HopeWorks’ Volunteer Program is supportive of the organization’s two-pronged mission: providing support and advocacy for people in Howard County affected by sexual and intimate partner violence and developing the community engagement necessary for primary prevention.

Office Volunteers assist in the day-to-day working os HopeWorks office. Office Volunteers are integral in helping our clients succeed and move forward towards a life free from gender and sexual violence. Office Volunteers main responsibility may include front desk coverage, pantry organization, file and educational material management, and more. Volunteers are needed during normal business hours-- Monday through Friday 9 am- 5 pm. All Office Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application during the specified application season, complete a background check, and attend both the Step 1 training and the Office Volunteer training.
HopeWorks seeks multiple volunteers to fill both ongoing and one-time Office Volunteer opportunities. After successfully completing training, volunteers may sign up for differing office opportunities.
- Volunteers will report to the Volunteer Program Coordinator and the Deputy Director.
- Hours are as needed and flexible.
Volunteers may apply two times a year-- January 1- February 15 AND July 1- August 15. The volunteer application can be found at wearehopeworks.org/volunteer
