The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the performance of all duties associated with the general care and maintenance of the interior and exterior of the buildings on the main campus and the program sites off campus (group homes, ALUs and donated goods store), in order to comply with all local, state and federal regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Electrical work
- May perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- High school diploma.
- Minimum of one year relevant experience is required.
- Must have the physical capabilities to lift and move materials and the expertise to use tools and machinery associated with the performance of all maintenance duties.
- A skill set that includes the ability to interface in a professional manner with Linwood staff, parents, school system personnel and other professionals.
