Description

The S.A.F.E. Food Pantry seeks a dynamic, self-starter to curate social media content that is informative, credible, and connected to the mission. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Find and organize high quality content (social media postings, blogs, videos, audio files, infographics, images, etc.) focusing on food allergies, celiac disease, gluten intolerance, dietary restrictions, nutrition, recipes, saving money with special dietary needs and food insecurity;
  • Adhere to standards of quality for content as determined by the Board of Directors and make content recommendations to the Executive Director or their designate;
  • Use appropriate tags, mentions, and citations for all content gathered;
  • Collaborate with the social media team to develop informational postings of current news and events related to S.A.F.E.’s mission;
  • Identify like-minded individuals, businesses, and organizations to follow;
  • Share valuable mission-relevant content with social media community;
  • Assist in the creation of a marketing plan and editorial calendar for the organization;
  • Determine missing areas of current online content for blogging team to develop original content;
  • Make recommendations to the Board of Directors on new ideas, directions, and tools for social media and content curating.
