Behavioral Health Navigator

The Behavioral Health Navigator (BHN) is part of the Hospital's Behavioral Health Emergency Department (ED) team that provides a screening and assists with discharge plans for adult and pediatric patients that present in the ED with a mental health crisis. The BHN helps behavioral health patients connect with resources that allow them to better manage their mental illness, improve their overall health and avoid preventable hospital encounters. The BHN is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team that includes the ED staff and psychiatric Social Workers and is embedded in the ED. Hours are 8am-6:30pm Saturday thru Tuesday
