2021 ACS Humanitarian Awards

Since 1975, the Association of Community Services of Howard County has been recognizing people in our community with these prestigious awards to recognize the work that volunteers do in service to others that go above and beyond all expectations in their service to the community. Historically, the awards were named the Audrey Robbins Humanitarian Awards after the former Howard County Social Services Director who died in 1974. Click here to see all past awardees.

These awards not only recognize the achievements of those honored, but offer public recognition for the organizations and causes to which our honorees devote their time and energy.

In 2020 four honorees were chosen to accept the 2020 Humanitarian Awards. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the celebration has been postponed. However, that does not diminish the outstanding work of these humanitarians:
