Domestic Violence Awareness Month Candlelight Vigil

October 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us Thursday, October 29, 2020 for our annual Candlelight Vigil in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We will come together virtually as a community to shed light on the prevalence of intimate partner violence in Howard County and remember those who have died because of it.

During a time when survivors are forced to shelter-in-place with their abusers, it’s more important than ever that we take gender-based violence prevention on as a community issue. Our duties as community members are to protect one another and engage ourselves and youth in the techniques they need to end the cycle of violence. We can only do this if as a community we work to envision the world we want to live in.

Join us as we celebrate those lives lost to intimate partner violence/domestic violence and ignite our community in its own power to #EndTheViolence.
