Communit Action Council of Howard County

The Community Action Council of Howard County (CAC) is Howard County’s designated anti-poverty organization. We believe that all families should have food on the table, a roof over their heads and lights on in their home. We believe that everyone needs help at some point in their life. We extend a helping hand, give people a chance to succeed and believe in others when they might not believe in themselves. We give hope.

Our Mission: To diminish poverty, enable self-sufficiency and advocate for low-income families and individuals.

Our Vision: Enabling others to enhance the quality of their lives and to share in the promise and opportunity of our community.
